It is not always easy to reach out, and I am thankful that you decided to visit this page. I want you to know that whatever you are going through is serious business, and I will do all in my power to create a space of safety and respect to help you express and explore your needs and emotions.

I am a firm believer in the Cloud/Townsend model of creating healthy boundaries and the importance of bonding, separation, integration, and embracing adulthood. I also utilize a person-centered, strength-based approach as well as Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT). I am a member of the American Counseling Association.

In my professional career, I have worked as a high school school counselor supporting students and families and I am looking forward to using my skill set to help those in the private sector. After graduating from Western Washington University, I moved to Juneau, Alaska where I eventually met my wife and we welcomed our first child. We relocated to Arizona last May (more sun!) and have both been amazed at the weather, scenery, and kindness of the people here.  In my spare time, I love spending time with my family, working on house projects, and making things out of wood.
